KIMIE ONO & MARC ROSENKOETTER

We bake stuff.

Kimie and Marc have collectively been professionally cooking for over 24 years.  Marc obtained formal training at L’Academie de Cuisine, in Gaithersburg, MD.  Kimie, Japanese-American, born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaii, has been passionately exploring her culinary cultural roots.  Together, they mash up the best of traditional French and Italian dishes with Asian infused flavors and Hawaiian inspired techniques.

They offer the best of culinary entertainment at clients’ in-home dinner parties and corporate events as well as intricately detailed cookie decorations and baked goods arrangements.  Compelled to help and serve others, Marc and Kimie have worked with local charities, including CHRIS Kids, teaching basic cooking skills to at risk and homeless youth.  They also take their culinary skills overseas where they facilitate cooking classes for corporate leadership development trainings in the Tuscan mountains, an hour north of Florence, Italy (If your company is interested, inquire!).

Teresa Dothard, food blogger from Culinary Local had this to say: "If you’re looking for a diversion from the ordinary, let Chef’s Marc and Kimie’s Hawaiian-Asian Fusion cuisine whisk you away." Read more from her blog: "Hawaiian-Asian Fusion Fried Chicken Awesomeness Date Night".
